commercials that slow don't usually last on tv long...stuff gets cut down to like 15 seconds after a bit.
Really the commercial should just be condensed to the logo. That's all the content there was worth anything. Thinking of system launch commercials past, I remember the "PS9" commercial with the "jacking in" to the system and thinking, "That's pretty cute." (Now it did confuse the hell out of some Alabama rednecks who thought that it was real, but that happens.) And there was the Dreamcast commercial with the woman running through the city while carrying the Dreamcast. Both of these commercials did not show you the actual system's capabilities, but they caught ones attention. My first impression of the Xbox 360 commercial was blah. I kept waiting for the explosion, but it never came. Boring.
i understand that this system is being promoted for its style, but honestly how the hell are half the people out there going to get it. This is almost as bad as psp adverting, but at least they showed people holding the damn thing.
