Any idea how? Or if its possible? Having said that i think its been done before but any help would be good. And yes i know you can play gbc games on a gba sp
I don't see why something like this wouldn't be possible. You have three main problems to deal with: - Is the screen size the same or close enough to work? - Is there enough distance between the the actual screen and the protective screen to place the frontlight? - Is there enough room in the GBC to fit the other components?
I have seen them fitted to WOnderswan's before as well, lost the link with how to do it though, as I really wanted to try it. koolkid, shrink that avatar please!
I did an afterburner in my GBA and the light is kinda longish, You may have to put it on the side of the screen (up/down) instead of across the top, It may not fit normaly
Thanks for that guys, why do i want to do it? Well simply because id like to bulid the ultimate gbc and i really love the machine. Regarding the afterburner, the can the strip lighting not be trimmed to size?
If you know how to cut glass then sure but I wouldn't count on it. It'll be a tight fit I can tell ya that much.
Glass cuttings not a problem, no? Take one glass cutter and cut away, or could get a pro (glazier) to do it, but is it still going to illuminate if i do trim it?
