I tried to open up the snes connector on my pal snes rgb cable, in order to upgrade it from composite to sync on luma. I discovered that the inside of the connector was covered with a plaster-like white substance that was near impossible to cut through. After a lot of puling and cutting, I managed to get rid of the substance. At the same time I managed to snap half of the pins, and bend the other ones real bad that they can't grip on the connector on the console side.

Is there a way to fix this, like use some kind of makeshift pins or buy a new rgb cable?

BTW, has anyone of you sourced a supplier with snes style av connectors? I've been searching for quite sometime, but can't find anything.
