    Hi,

I'm about to update my Qoob SX via DVD. However I don't know what to do and I can find any info about it. Do I just burn the files to a DVD and put it in? One site said something about padding my DVD to ~1GB. I don't know how to do that. Any help would be amazing. Thanks

I have a small app that creates dummy files. It's the one to pad out an Xbox CD when flashing an Xecuter2/Xenium/etc...

If it's anything like flashing an Xbox chip, create the dummy file of a decent size and burn that onto DVD along with the BIOS .bin file.

I'll send you the dummy file creator if you want it?

    Well, it's not the game.
Btw anybody know is there is a way to flash Qoob SX with an external programmer or something (assuming if I could brick it during flshing) ?

  9. You must be doing something wrong.

Qoob Sx is protected of bricking, because it has 2nd flash slot with good bios. 2nd flash slot is unflashable. You can activate it holding left on d-pad while booting system.
