Heres a pic of every official nintendo gamecube memory card. From left to right.... Memory card 59 (grey) Memory card 251 (black) Memory card 1019 (white) (funnily enough only available in america) Memory card 59 (clear blue/red) found in the jpn version of pokemon box Memory card 59 (clear black) found in the jpn version of pokemon collosseum Also theres a special memory card 251 only available from club nintendo in the club colours of white & blue. And heres the sammy gamecube keyboard i was on about its bottom half is black & it comes with a free pack of PSO trading cards.
Just so you know, the translucent red/blue 59 block memory card is in the US version of Pokémon Box as well.
That card is nifty, I'd almost buy Pokemon Box - whatever that is - just to get it. Too bad it's a 59 block though. You can't really do much without a 251 anymore, if not one of the super-duper white ones that I forget the size of. That RE4 Gamecube is pretty disappointing though - I was expecting something more along the lines of that awesome Gundam special edition.
...If you're gonna show 'every' GC mem card don't forget this baby as it was crucial to the implementation of all the others!
Hi, yeh, it's a very useful piece of kit, especially if you are trying to develop something that you need to 'force' into a problem, via a real world simple scenario. It has a standard Mem card interface that you can plug into any GC, be that retail or Dev. ...Off this is a control box which has 8 dip switches on it, although only 5 actually need to function! (I have a couple of PPT slide's that shows the different combinations to use). ...It's purpose is to 'emulate' every type of program error, save error and erase error imagineable. It does this with style
Wow, would love one of those, and just plug it into someones cube, leaving it on an error setting so it would never save - muahaha....That is, until they unplug this large, unmemory card like device from their cube and plug a real one in
Hi everyone... updated the list again (fixed some of the errors, added prototype stuff and the mem card emulator) I'm not the interested in the special bundles as they are just regular cubes, with a pack in game... once I have everything else I might get them though, haha I fixed the doubling up of GBA connector and Digital Vid Cable . I cant believe i forgot the standard composite cable ._. (added now). Oooh S-Video, i'll add that now haha . Yes, that is the one I mean for Digital Vid Cable, i got the list from LikSang originally and thats what they call it @ImportOtaku : Thanks for the pictures , i needs to find me the White, Clear Black and Red/Blue one now. TO THE IMPORT SHOP!!! @Oldengineer : .. I NEED to find one of those, thats cool ... Fingers crossed one shows up on ebay (unless someone here knows where i could get one). @Silverbolt : I am interesting, however having "slight" cash flow problem haha, (should be rectified shortly though ). @Everyone else who has posted but I have not responded to directly. Thanks for keeping this post alive ... you've all been great.
...It's purpose is to 'emulate' every type of program error, save error and erase error imagineable. God I wish I had something like that for ps1. You dont know the amount of shit I would go though to try testing for everything required.
Is the green debug not intended for stuff like that? Or does it generate errors purely at random? And for one, I'd like to know a way to access the MC *at all* without resorting to Psy-Q or whatever...
The 'green' Debug isn't meant to 'generate' error's it's for finding them. ...The Memory Card Emulator is used to 'generate' (More correctly emulate) specific error's as per what the user programmes in with the dip switches. ...Like I said before I have a couple of user charts which show the dip settings, so it's all user specific randomness if that makes sense!!!
I have thought about getting all the hardware when I done getting the software. I don't know if I want to take on such a daunting task though. I am almost done getting all the cube games in the US though so far. We will see.
@ SilverBolt : Thanks , will do @ Bjeong1381 : I'd like to get all the software after the hardware haha, but I would like to go with all the japanese releases... I love all the weird games that never make it outside of Japan. Dunno if i will though, it depends how far i get with this hardware collection ^_^
There's also a limited edition Heineken Gamecube. I think it's the most rare one (there 100 of them.) (not mine)
