Well, my image for SCSI CD Roms is finally done! cheers! If you have a Towns with dead internal CD Rom just connect one via SCSI and set your ID to 6. Write the image down to 128mb SD card and plug it into your SD2SCSI device. (You can also use other devices or even real HDDs its just the fastest way) To write the image, please use Winimage (Administrator) ! 90% chance that some kind of error message will appear when TOS starts. Thats because your ram settings do not fit mine, simply adjust via setup2.exe in the DOS folder. I included everything worth playing from the Doujin scene; Rumstorm, Rumruder, Alltynex etc... you will also find three games you may never heard of. The dev of Negative People did reupload them after i bombed him with emails My machine is 486 / 10mb, no idea how the image works on you hardware but i bet it gets pretty bad on slower machines. To launch games klick on the "gamename".exp or game.bat. Some games do require fast mode but its not set on boot. Hold down A+B on your pad when powering the Towns and then select the "running man" icon. Some of these games are just the HDD install files and still require the CD in drive (SF2, Rumstorm, Mahou). Not all games will work on every machine because the Towns is very picky when it comes to RAM. I included almost everything i found in the DRIVERS folder; ASPI, ISO mount tools, SCSI stuff etc... feel free to play around with that stuff. Now, ENJOY! Image with SCSI CD ROM drivers (ID6) https://www.file-upload.net/download-12922975/towns.vhd.html - will not boot without SCSI CD ROM Image with excluded SCSI CD ROM drivers https://www.file-upload.net/download-12923067/townshdd.7z.html - boots everywhere Please note; This image will not work with UNZ! I never emulated much and it looks like emulation even works with some DOS files i excluded with REM commands. If someone can fix it to work with UNZ, that would be great. (you could also try to mount the image and boot via DOS disk to edit the config)
If you have questions, just ask PS will upload the SCSI boot diskettes for 2x different old Towns versions and both DOS versions next weekend for those without HDD

Tried this out last night, worked a treat and booted straight into Towns OS. I'm running a Towns Fresh TV with 36mb Ram and using the Amikit SD2SCSI V5, I restored the image to microSD with WinImage.
Woah, I just learned about these devices...and went straight to assembler. Cool. Thanks for sharing ! I read about the UNZ Emulator and I guess people already tried to use these files on standard 386/486 Computers ? p.s. I dont like sites like "Upload.net" that open new tabs and force you to download their EXE (downloader), which will be named just like the original file you want to download. Bad bad bad. ;p
yeah, right the site is shit. Pretty new to uploading, any other ideas? @Topic The Towns is back alive
