Recently I got a FM Towns Marty console which needed some cleaning and repair.
Cleaning and replacing the floppy disc drive belt has been done now, what's left is the dead backup battery.
Unfortunately I can't read what's written on it, my guess it's a 3V rechargeable lithium cell, and it looks similar to the cell I've seen in the Sega Dreamcast consoles.

Does anyone know if this is correct, and where to get a proper replacement for this cell?

    Thanks a lot!

I just "broke" the cell by removing the soldering tails, but now I can read what's written on it:

    FDK
    LITHIUM BATTERY
    CR2450
    3V
    MADE IN JAPAN

Turns out it is just a regular lithium cell...
