I am selling my FM Towns Marty collection. All systems work, and were used in the development of Frog Feast:

FM Towns Marty II, joypad, power cable, and video cable. $200 (shipped in the US with insurance), or best offer. Disk drive works fine:

Boxed FM Towns keyboard, $75 (shipped in the US with insurance), or best offer. Works with FM Towns Marty above:

FM Town Marty Mouse, $50 (shipped in the US with insurance):

Or buy both the keyboard and mouse for $100 (shipped in the US with insurance), or best offer.

Ditto works for me too, although the Marty 2 looks like it's yellowed to hell, which given it's a grey machine is an achievement. The Joypad is also a FM Towns one rather then the lovely Marty 2 pad. :(

I'm not sure why the Marty II is yellowed, and the Marty I shows no yellowing. It was that way when I bought it several years ago.

I don't want it, but it confuses me, I mean, if we can find old PC keyboards for nearly nothing in pawn shops and the like, Japanese can't find old PC keyboards at Hard Off and the like?

It's an FM Towns branded keyboard and the interiors look very neat. I don't know how much is reasonable, but I know that it is way more uncommon than any "old PC keyboard" and as there are quite some FMTowns-collectors out there... I'm sure there are some interested.

The FM Towns uses a custom keyboard. The connector is similar to a PS/2 keyboard connector, but not the same. I'm not even sure the signals are the same.

It's only been recently that computer makers have standardized on USB keyboards and mice.
