Hey i am still messing around with my FMV Towns computer and i had allready some succes (like getting Mahou Daisakusen to work etc...) but i really have NO IDEA what kind of mouse can be used in FM Towns mode :crying: PS2, USB (under Win98) and even com port work fine in Dos-Mode but i cannot get a mouse to run under FM Towns mode. Has someone ever used a FMV Towns computer with mouse here ? The Pad is connected over a gameport and cannot be uses as mouse (like on regular FM Towns computers) Sorry for my english... still trying ^__^

Hey, hi Tatsujin ! :thumbsup: I am really happy to be here, there is not much left to talk about for me in all the other boards... @HCK I currently only have a UX( 386/20/10) and the FMV Towns (last model Pentium/200/65MB) but i allready had 2 Martys, 2 Car Martys, FMT HR and another UX. The UX is my personal favorite, unfortunately it is too slow for many games. FMV Towns systems have much potential but you really need skills (DOS / Bios / Towns OS) to use it right. You even have to "hack" the towns mode to start a few games. The HR system (486/20/8) was still to slow for games like Ultima Underworld & Mahou Daisakusen (HD installed but still a framerate from hell). I really hope that i can configure the FMV Towns perfectly for my needs... i do not want to import another Towns PC at the moment...
You should be able to plug in a FM Towns mouse in the joypad ports, the first 3 models of the FMV are basically hybrid machines that emulates the FM Towns and is a Pentium PC as well, so the serial mouse you are using will only work in Windows / DOS and nothing else. I was always under the impression that the FMV Towns HC was the last model and only had a 120Mhz Pentium. Personally I would have gone for a FM TOWNS II Fresh F series machine, 100Mhz DX 486 is probably fast enough for any FM Towns games out there. I see you have Chiemi (game on your bed, probably quite apt...), which as far as I am aware no FM Towns version exists.

Ok, i have replaced both HDDs with a 4GB CF card and it works now (Bios Settings from hell ) BUT i still have no Mouse in FMT mode there must be a hotkey or something for it.... any idea´s ?
I finally managed to get a FMV MO105 Mouse (FMV Towns systems where shipped with FMV MO 104) and it works !
