I was out eating yesterday, had a taste of mayo and thought it was off, didn't have any more. Hours later it felt like a martial artist practicing on my stomach.

    Anyone else go through this?

Stomach doesn't hurt anymore but it feels like I've been punched in the belly a few times...

Had proper food poisoning for the first time in my life earlier this year. The stomach cramps were unbearable.

    Not pleasant.

Probably bad/spoiled mayo that bothered your stomic but maybe not full on food poisoning.

One time my brother got food poisoning from wendeys over not fully cooked bacon.
I one time got food poisoning from taco bell (sounds like that should be the norm for TB).

when I got it, I had really bad feevor and felt like vomiting for a whole day. Sucks too since I was taking a math course during summer school to skip ahead and that day was exam day. If I missed the exam I would instantly fail the course (no exceptions). I felt so bad I was trying to fill in bubbles on the exam card with my pencil 3 inches above the paper and wondering why it wasn't filling in. *lol* At least the teacher wasn't a total bitch and let me go home as soon as I finished the exam.

    What's a stomic, and what's a feevor?

I once drank moldy peach juice.
When I saw the big mold floating in the cup, it was too late.
    It hurt a lot.

Well, I no that not real food poisoning can be treated by good old regular Diet coke, or Coca Cola, but some of the more mild ones can be "cured" with Cola. So drink some Cola, and get on cracking, but if it gets serious. Well, then medication is one of the few treatments I know, and I think that is what I can say.

When I gotten food poisoning i would eat some of those kosher wheat crackers. The REAL deal where they taste like cardboard and each bite has about 100% fiber :p, but in all seriousness they do help in calming the stomach.

i think my brother is immune to food poisoning. I cooked chicken, it wasn't fully done. But he ate two chicken breasts anyway...no issues. o_O

It's not guaranteed that you'll get sick from undercooked chicken. It's just you might suffer from salmonella if the meat is infected.

You could eat raw chicken and be fine, if the meat is fine.

Food poisoning is something more serieus then you described.

You would be in hell with fever, vomiting, headackes, bellyackes, nausia, dizzy, diarea etc unable to walk/standup properly etc.

I was also naive always saying I had food poisoning when I felt bad after eating something that was a bit off, but then the real one came one day.. OMG it's freaking hell!

And some other time I also met mr. salmonella and mr e-coli, now that was simular to the above but with a cherry on top :dammit:

I got sick from food several times with sea food. Symptoms were: vomiting a LOT, stomach ache and fever. And yes like most people here told you, a real food poisoning is hardcore.
