Yep, It gets worse when it becomes a Combo. Like one year I got sick off some stuff (Badly) and the next day had to still go in to summer school to take an exam or it was an instant fail of the course (even if I bombed the test I would still clear the class). That was a god awful day of me trying to scribble in answer on my test with my pencil 6 inches away from the paper and wondering why it wasn't working. =P
I recall the last time I had food poisoning really bad, basically slept in the bathroom waking up at least once an hour at about the same time each hour. Later, I had an orthodontist appointment where I'd swear every grain of sand translated into a change in the car's suspension that my gut could feel.
The human digestive system is a fragile thing, as are humans in general. I had some kind of stomach bug over spring break. It was awful, but luckily it only lasted a couple days.
I had one two weeks ago. Good lord it was awful, kept me up all night and couldn't sleep cause i had to get to the bathroom every 5 minutes. It be so exhausting I would have to actually rest my head on a stool while I was on the toilet. It was so bad had to take a week off work.
Only ever had it twice and once is enough to make you hope that you never ever get it again. This is probably a little crude, but both times I literally had fluids squirting from both ends. A shocking experience and one I hope I never have to repeat. My heart goes out to you
I exprience similar gastrointestinal gymnastics though not from poisoning per se. I like peri peri sauce and other things and when I go Nandos etc I always go for the extra extra hot sauce - I basically have a fireproof mouth... but a not so fireproof arse
I also like it extra hot! Here in Germany we sometimes call it the "afterburner effect"(sic) (it is funnier if you know a little German, as "After" in German means anus).
Yeah food Poisoning is bad!! i just woke up with flu or cold ¬_¬ its nearly summer hows that happen, can bairly keep my eyes open + i have college and none of my mates do grrrrrrr
Only vomited twice in my whole adult life, both times from Alcohol abuse. Never had food poisoning or any kind of stomach trouble. Can eat anything and everything....apart from Spicy foods. I have a zero tolerance for them in terms of my mouth. I just can't handle the spices in the mildest of curries, burns like hell and reduces whatever it is to a chemical taste.
I ate a bad burger the other week, and spent the next three days rolling around on the floor, clutching my guts and praying for a swift death. I actually turned to my girlfriend and told her that I thought I was dying - it was THAT bad! But after three days, the agony disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived. Food poisoning is one of the most horrible things in the world.
Ginger tea and mint tea help. Try bananas. They are one of the only things you can keep down with upset stomach and they have lots of energy and potassium. Drink A LOT of water/gatorade/alkaseltzer
I remember getting food poisoning when I was 8. It sucked balls, I couldn't move for a lot of time, and my stomach felt like it was going to explode. After like 5 hours of pain, I puked like 5 times in 30 minutes, only then I started to feel a little better. Fortunately after about 2 days, the pain went away completly.
Day 3 of my head cold, i kinda wish i hadnt even tryed to get up, can breath properly and the headake is getting worst, time for some lucozade, paracetamol and mints i think
Get used to it. That thing has been going around where I live and it's a nightmare to shake. We seem to have been passing it backwards and forwards amongst ourselves for weeks
I get food poisoning very easily both puking and shits. Almost natural to me but man, when you get the full thing (puking shits and sickness) thats the worst. Some food/drink like coffee and brown sauce set me right off.
