For Sale: AMC DDH Devkit + NPDP Gbox

Hi All,

I have a AMC DDH devkit (with Marlin PC Card) and a NPDP Gbox for sale.
I also have the AMC_DDK V3 software and SCSI cable (assuming it's the same cable as the NPDP-ODEM which seems to fit fine to unit and PC card)
Both units power up fine but have not been tested beyond this.

As i don't know the going rate for these I can't set a fixed price but i'm open to offers!

i have a question concerning GBX, GDEV and DDH, on every sticker it says Controller: Full Speed

are there any testing machines out there who run at lower speed or what? do you know something about this?

 

Yep, it's gonna sound obvious but the earlier ver Dev Kit's, Debug's etc worked with slower controllers.

...You often see the early proto controllers marked up at 3/4 speed etc.

The same applied to Xbox Dev as well.

 

...and pretty much every other console dev out there. There's always an early version system that runs slower.

Just to use the Xcurrent gen box 360 as an example:

The Alpha kits (G5) didn't run at full speed.
The Beta kits (black case) ran at 2.8 GHz.
The retail hardware (and final dev/debug kits) run at 3.2 GHz.

Obviously those aren't the only changes, but it makes it easy to see that "Full Speed" dev hardware usually shows up rather late in the life of the system. Of course, I fully expect that OE has minty fresh examples of every variant in his collection.
