    Thanks for the info as I was looking to buy one (For my PSX and maybe PS2 15000) but I don't need it for my PS2. Maybe I was not looking... but how you get homebrew to work on it, if it was not by using Swapmagic?

    I'm thinking that I may know someway of doing it. Get a Japanese games that add data to the HDD, then setup the HDD in a PC and open a Hex Editor. Then fine the data that was added by the game and then set custom data over it (setup right for PSX).
    Well maybe that's right or wrong, don't know as I have not tired doing it. Just can't wait to get my PSX in English and maybe add some homebrew, then some games.
    (Love to help out if you need anybody that has a DESR-5700 Var. 2.10 [I need to get the update disc for 2.11] I've helped out sp193 a little before, will be happy to do the same for you, if needed)

    Ah Rand you're trying to make people hate me ? -_-;
    Have you forgotten the incident on PSX-Scene about the HDD MBR thing ? :x

    This will end on FMCB eventually. :p

    @vash32 : You certainly should try and see with your own eyes how the HDD is NOT a vector of attack on the PSX. (It's encrypted with per unit keys)

    Your right, its encrypted per unit. I forgot that I've seen some posts saying that before. My bad.
