Be-sure to order or make sure you have the parts on hand for actually connecting the chip to the mother board. You need a 40 pin wide dip socket, a 200pf cap for the slim models and wire of coarse. For the phat consoles you will need some diodes, resistors, and a cap as well. It's not just connections straight with wire, you have to add this stuff to the circuit. Ebay is a good place to get a bunch of bulk caps, sockets, resistors, diodes, ect. I ordered mine today and they should be here on Thursday or Friday which is pretty good. The chip and the programmer on the other hand won't be here until the 7th. I think that is ridiculously slow, and over priced. $13 for UPS ground. If they would use USPS it would be like $6 and be here by the end of the week, that really upsets me. Hawk

I got mine from diligent. At least with the added shipping I can decide what console I want to use it on. I'm probably just going to use the modded slim, and reflash the nand before I connect to live again. The slims have the easiest wiring with just one cap to install in the circuit. Hawk
