Hi guys, I'm really sorry for the extreme delay in getting your stuff out. I have been having some health problems, and this seriously restricts what I can get done in a day... and there has been so much to get done! There are numerous other issues that haven't helped, but I don't want to make excuses. I just want you guys to know that I haven't forgotten you, and will endeavour to get your stuff out very soon. I can't remember if I mentioned before, but the Post Office here closed, and moved into a branch of a chain of newsagents. This has caused chaos, and huge queues! As the shop has the same opening times as our shop, I can only go in my lunch hour, and as the queues then can be up to an hour, I don't get the chance. Therefore, I have to sort a day off to get this done. Unfortuantely, I was just getting on top of everything, when I received some awful news. A friend of mine, whom I have known for 20 odd years, had apparently been battling depression. Last week, it got the better of her, and she jumped off the local shopping centre to her death. The past week has been quite hard. I can't stop thinking about her. I feel bad that I hadn't seen her in a while, and wasn't aware of her condition. Of course, I can't say that I would have been able to help, but I would have at least liked to have given her some support. I have been spending time with my friends who knew her, I think we are all in shock. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know why I haven't been around this past week, and that I haven't forgotten about sending out the prizes. As I mentioned before, the delay has worked out in your favour for many of you, as I have found more items to throw in!
Like i said before retro, there's no need to worry about. We all know real life comes first, specially when you have health issues. Believe me, i know how it's like. Really. I'm truly sorry to hear about your friend. I can only imagine how sad this is. Anything someone says, in a sad moment like this, won't be enough. Let's just hope she rests in peace.
