Anything weird or harder to come by. Nothing expensive or dev related. Got a working Phillips CD-i or a 3DO?

Seeing that you blacked out the serial number, you might want to do the same for the barcode, which can easily be read out to get the serial number as well :)

Still have this. No one seemed interested in a trade, so I'd be willing to take $200 for it. I'm moving soon and I need to unload it. Too much game stuff clogging up my home

Did you ever manage to get the game pad connected?

No, I assume the Kiosk pad has to be connected to one of the special connectors in the back. However I'm waiting to hear back about someone who has figured out a solution

Your images are really slow loading. There's no need to upload 5312x2988 images - I'd suggest resizing them to something more sensible before uploading in future - 25% of that would be ample.

Do you have stills of the actual Kiosk?

It's probably the same as my CAT Dev-r wii U devkit with the wired connection via coax.

I'm interested in the unit itself. From what I understand it has a hard-drive reader instead of a disk drive similar to the RVT-H Reader Wii Devkit of yesteryear. I wonder if there is a CAT-H Reader equivalent. I used to have access to the Nintendo developer portal and I seem to only remember there being the CAT-R and CAT-DEV though. Does anyone know if such a CAT-H exists?

All I see is CAT-R and CAT-DEV, nothing else, just the two.

The controller (WIS-002) connects via an RF cable with a male SMA connector on either end and a power/data cable with a six pin 1.25mm pitch connector on either end.

Might it be possible to mod a retail controller to interface this way? Any pics of how the coax leads connect to the mainboard? Any idea what that metal thing on the coax daughterboard is?

The metal thing is just an adapter that holds the two PCBs in where the battery should be. You can pull it right out. I haven't taken the controller apart further to figure out where the three coax lines or the blue/black wires lead to.

It's likely this is just a hand-modified retail controller, much like the wired wiimotes. It might be possible to figure out how to modify a retail controller in this way, but would likely be a bit expensive.

Well if someone could disassemble a dev controller and find the pins the Coax daughterboard links up to it would be trivial to modify a retail controller to work with a dev or kiosk unit. Does anyone want to rise to the occasion?

Apparently its quite easy to do. Here is such a guide: https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nintendo+Wii+U+Teardown/11796

That's awesome! I was curious if the kiosk pad had any extra PCBs
