Hi, Check out this amazing video of forza 3. you get to see the nordschleife (Nurburgring) and the amazing Veyron. TBH I think the physics for the car and the ratios and such are spot on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK9j1FgJrFs Thanks
The cars do look great indeed. But i still think the colors seem a bit "cartoonish". I always had this feel with Forza games. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, a great evolution from Forza 2 and a great achievement (DVD9 space limitation). It will make Kazunori and his team work harder if they want to keep most of their players, since GT5 will only be avaiable in March 2010. And PD really need to evolve in some areas like tyre deformation, skidmars, AI, reverse lights, and of course, damage. If it's going to be that cheap implementation of damage, i prefer no damage at all like previuous GT's.
I think the physics are pretty accurate... Nearly all people who have driven one says that it is light and easy to drive. and the veyron can actually reach 180 MPH in 16 secs.
I still vote for "no damage". If a car sustains serious damage, the race should just be over. No one is running races with snapped control rods. Lots of these cars are carbon-bodied anyway, they'll just go to nothing if you hit a wall. Anyway, I'm interested to drive they Veyron in ANY reasonably realistic racing game. I feel like it's going to be a big fat pig, but it'll probably surprise me.
you can hardly call it fat with that amount of horsepower. That thing has amazing acceleration and I can't wait to try it out on Forza. Too bad I have a silver account and can't even download the damn demo.
you get a months free gold with the first 3 profiles on Xbox if you still have one spare, thats what i had to do to get the demo
Fat = Weight It could be a lardass even with 5,000hp. Weight has more implications than just power-to-weight ratio. Every extra pound negatively impacts cornering, braking, and just about everything else the car does. I'll be interested to see if it's a 4,000lb 250mph atomic death sled or if it's actually a proper sports car.
