Calling all 360 car nuts! Forza 3 now gets the Top Gear Stig pack. No new tracks as of yet but we do get all of the best cars that the Stig raced. Fingers crossed for a Top Gear test track in the future. I bet Sony wished they did get GT5 out now so they could have been the first with Top Gear contence. Yakumo
Wow, a whole 3 new cars... How many packs does F3 have now? Although in GT5 Prologue there has been Top Gear videos for a while, plus when GT5 comes out we will have the Top Gear Test Track.
it's not just 3 cars. You get a 90 minute Top Gear Special video, features by the Top Gear team and future add ons such as tracks, more cars, more videos and so on. I don't know what happened between Sony and the BBC with their exckusive Top Gear test track but going on what the official reports are saying, Forza and the BBC now have an ongoing contract for cross data between the Top Gear TV show and the game. This can only be a good thing for fans of the show and game. I just hope they don't do any stupid game challenges on the actual Top Gear show though.
Well from what I read online it's downloadable content from the ultimate collection set, which I hear has Forza owners moaning as they have to buy the game again to get the extra things. The 90 minute video seems to be a compliation of things, which sounds like most of the stuff you've probably already seen with maybe a few new cut betweens. Oh and you can download the 3 new stig cars. Forza and Gran Turismo can happily co-exist and they seem to have the same "partners" as such, the Forza site at the moment doesn't say anything about the top gear test track... Although most people who have played Gran Turismo and Forza will generally play Gran Turismo as it is a much better game and a lot more realistic then Forza. You really should buy a PS2 and play all those games you missed out on.
As long as I don't see/hear mention Forza on Top Gear episodes as some sort of partnership (or GT5 for that matter) in some regular frequency. I wonder what will happen to the SIARPC times as soon as people can "practice" at home? I'd certainly take advantage of that if I were a celeb. XD
I only watch Top Gear for the amusing shit they do. The car "review" aspect I couldn't care less about. As for GT4, a huge MEH. Try getting it out on time and on a platform that isn't a glorified Blu-Ray player and I might care. Oh right that'd be like Mario on the XBox or Sonic on the Wii...oh wait.
I heard that Sony snagged exclusive rights to the Top Gear test track so I doubt it will show up on Forza for a long time.
Yeah, this strikes me as a desperate act to try to say "Me Too". Unless they get the track in there, it's just a couple of new cars.
