I have a quick question with Forza Motorsport 1 for Xbox 1. I have the DVD and wanted to do some modding with it. The dvd doesn't boot when I boot it with Evox. or when I patch it to dev and run it in a devkit. The game only runs with the original unmodded xbox dash. Is there a way that I might have ripped the game wrong or somethings not set in evox? And to prove that i legaly own Forza. http://allenthinks.com/pub/pics/forzaproof.jpg
Well the game should work just fine on a modded xbox,how is you xbox modded and when you say dev kit is that for xbox 1 as well,if so you can install a hack to boot retail games on a dev kit. Also try and boot the game from the hdd and also in Evox under settings if its not set right some games wont load.
Have you tried using UnleashX? That's what I always used to backup games to my Xbox, and it always worked fine for me.
I will look into all of that, I have a second modded xbox with UnleashX and it wont boot in that dash either. I will rip it to the hard drive and run it see if anything changes. This is just a werid game... Edit: It works when I rip it to the hard drive under Unleash X. Thanks all! I guess wxRipper/Evox dident copy something right.
I think EvoX and wxripper didn't patch it right to work on HDD, because EvoX is to old an wxripper is only for backups that run on dvd, doublelayer(never used wxripper). The best app is dvd2xbox...or UnleashX, that you used.
