When at the local swap meet today me and my buddy stumbled across a seller with quite a few japanese gameboy games as well as a few mod carts for the psone. Was wondering if anyone knew if any of these japanese games are rare and if you knew what they said. Also am curious about the psone mod carts if anyone has any experience with them! Thanks :)

The gameboy game at the top left is fake, those mod carts can usually be used to boot "backups" and imports and usually have some sort of cheat program inbuilt

DMG-AFUJ-JPN: Fairy Kitty no Kaiun Jiten: Yousei no Kuni no Uranai Shugyou
    CGB-B86J-JPN: Tottoko Hamutaro 2
    DMG-ATAJ-JPN: Game de Hakken!! Tamagotchi
    DMG-CEJ: Caesar's palace - Obviously a clone

None of those carts are worth much.

M brother had one of those mod"chips", and, well... IIRC it just worked. You plug it in, and backups/imports boot, simple as that. Obviously they're no stealth (they came out way to early for that) so the later titles won't work with them. No idea what the switch on yours is for (to en/disable without having to (un)plug them?)

Switch is enable/disable. Stealth games you can usually get codes to disable the protection

I've rarely ever run into two psx cheat devices with the same name, they were cloned so much. That you found two of them the same day , same brand is funny.
