About time too, it's amazing how there can be so much mundane shit on TV, when something as genuinly entertaining as Futurama gets canned. I heard it was partly due to pressure because it was getting more ratings than The Simpsons or something, but I take that with a pinch of salt.
Hey, are the Simpsons still "Alive"? A new episode every 6 months doesnt seem very alive to me. It seems like that show went the way of the Dreamcast. Literally.
nice but in a way I'm not sure I want it.. just alittle afraid that it will go the same way as most cartoons that has been on for to long..
The simpsons keep using the same theme over and over again with too many catch-phrases from all popular characters.
The simspsons are just degenerating, the golden era is still around the seasons 5 to 10. Now its just crappy and unrealistic little stories cramped togheter with Homer phrases and a bunch of stars added to the mixt. just watch a new simpson again and check how many times the stories change in one episode. 3,4,5 times? Anyway, back on topic, i hope its true, Futurama is one of the best comic show of a while.
Good! Finally! I just hope it doesn't suffer from the newer Family Guy's problem where they use the samn damn jokes all the time and the show loses everything that made it funny (IMO of course, but I don't think the newer episodes can touch the older ones, they just seem dumbed down compared to the originals to me).
Family guy suffers from the problem of never being all that funny past the first viewing. Most people are realizing it now.
