First off, I have the GGTV card installed in my system and I use a SNES output, so I can send the video out RGB with Scart, Svideo and Composite. but when I use the SCART cable, the XRGB mini sees a signal but is doesnt understand the output, so I have had to use the Svideo. Has anyone found a way around this? Next issue is that I have changed a setting somewhere that I can't seem to reverse, I have dark sides and curved edges. What did I change, and how do I fix it? Here is the game gear Simpsons game
To fix the borders, press Menu, go to Special, down to Retro Mode, choose the first option. In regards to scart, one thing to check is that your scart cable matches the framemeister's adapter. For example, euro scart with euro adapter.
Thank you with the Retro option that was annoying. I have checked the scart, my scarts from my PS1, Gens and the SNES work. and I can see the RGB from the game gear on my PVM with out any issue also.
I will try it soon, I have been busy. But would the sync be different between the Svideo and the RGB side ?
Yeh. It can be different for all consoles to be honest. I had issues with a pc-engine on rgb scart. Tried a different console, and it was fine.
just an update, I have been working with the settings more, and I have almost got rid of the boarder, but I have no more H-POS to remove, any suggestions? ..
Why do you want to stretch out the screen more? It won't reveal more details such as the characters face. Enjoy the giant pixels.
