So I got my Framemeister and I absolutely love it. I've had no issues since I bought it but I never tested how component video looks on it, only the other video inputs. Just last night, I was finally looking into getting all of my systems hooked up in one place.

I hooked up Gamecube, Wii, and PS2 through a component switcher to the component to D-Terminal cable I bought with my Framemeister and loaded the settings found on Pixel Purist, Junker HQ, and Implant Games. I found that all of these settings resulted in the same outcome: the picture resulting absolutely has something wrong with it. It almost looks as if there is little or no color Red in any of the images displayed.

I thought initially it might be the component switcher, but I tested each system directly to the component to D-Terminal cable and got the same result. It's not my TV settings that are the problem as all of my other systems through HDMI look beautiful as do classic games plugged into RGB SCART, S-Video, and Composite through the Framemeister. It can't be the systems or the systems' cables as they work on other TV's no problem and all have the same result: little or no Red color in the picture.

Has anyone else had this issue? Do you think it could be the D-Terminal port or the component to D-Terminal cable causing an issue? Something I haven't thought of? Any insight would be a great help.

Aside from the price this is one of the reasons I'm passing on the Frammiester. I for saw this being an issue.

Mine works fine and looks great. Perhaps the adapter does have an issue? Could you possibly take a picture for us?

I think I may have solved my problem. I cleaned my systems and cables and found a fair amount of dust. Gamecube is working fine right now without testing other systems yet. Might have solved my own problem, but I need to test further.
