Anyone know where a guy can get his girl some game-related ringtones for her Samsung X427M?
Free is of course prefered, but I will pay if they're exceptional quality.
I Googled for almost two hours and din't find any that were actually free (not that two hours is very long... and I kept getting sidetracked listening to the pay ones).

Can't you just download MIDI files off any website, like vgmusic.com? All modern polyphonic phones seem to just use standard MIDI music now. I tried this, put GPRS is borked on my phone so I can't download stuff...

Make your own :) What format does it use? if midi which I belive a lot of western phones use then just get them of and game music site on the net. If it uses SMAF like Many older and new Japanese phones plus my brother Samsung uses 40 channel smaf, then you can use a special software that converts midio to smaf. The bummer is that I forgot the name of this :( I'll have to ask my brother what it was.

Download PSMplayer it can convert standard .mid files to 40-tone mmf files that can be used on samsung phones..i used to do that all the time with my Samsung X600

I download Mids from VGmusic too. Even entry level sony-ericsson phones have the feature as long as they're polyphonic. Your girl's phone looks far more advanced than that, so look for the manual for a way to download from a URL, get the MID file you need, write down its URL and download it.
    That's what I do anyway.

    Huzzah!

    Thanks all for the replies!
I think SilverBolt's suggestion is going to work out the best, but I need to pick up one of those $6 transfer cables on eBay huh?

http://lasyk.net/ has some nice game-related ringtones, and the best part is that it's free because you can circumvent the WAP part by going to wap.lasyk.net on your PC and typing in the code. I think their files are (mostly) MIDI though. And about the transfer cable, if your phone has bluetooth or IR you might be better off getting BT/IR dongles for your PC if you don't have them already :)
