Now, of course, everybody who uses the 'net is bombarded with these. My question is, do these actually work? And I also have a question about BMG and Columbia House DVDs. Ya know, the 49 cents a piece DVDs and the 11 free CDs deal? Is this legit? I've actually heard of people who got these and it worked, and my bud was interested...so was wondering if anybody here tried it?
I haven't tried the BMG/Columbia House DVD thing, but if you're talking about the ads in magazines, I hear they work. You have to read the fine print, though. You must buy X number of CDs at [inflated price] from them within the next year. It's not too terribly bad, as you'll probably be paying less than you would at the store. Keep in mind, though, that I haven't tried this. My brother got a few free books from a similar offer, though ($40+ computer/hacking books).
Same thing as free ipod. Sign up an do all these offers, then refer people. Its rubbish! *feels british*
Bmg is legit, just got 7 CDs for the price of 1. Thing is if you don't fullfill your membership agreement and buy something right away, they just send you a random CD and charge you $22.50 for it. So if you do it, buy your fullfillment CD quick and then quit.
