Hopefully the 256 and 512 versions come out soon. Im waiting to jump onboard... Wait...I thought this was never gonna happen???
If I remember correctly 16MB jaspers weren't a problem. It was 256 and (maybe) 512, so that kinda makes me wonder why it took so long for this to push out. Also LEo, you're only essentially flamebaiting other people, not a good idea unless you really want to see some more arguments, and personally I don't, so why even make a second post to target others lol? Also on a sidenote, I think editting should be allowed now, and just people that post inappropriately should get warned. But back on topic... Let's see how long those other sizes take though..
Never thought I would see the day.... Or maybe i did any way still on track for great things to come.
So this along with the newest points for Jaspers all we need to do the larger Jaspers? /XBOX 360/development/free60/images/jasper_6723_hack_256MB_512MB.rar
Is there a reason why the free60 site doesnt have the wiring diagrams available for the Jaspers? Or are the points the same as the others?
I still have a xenon mobo sitting here on my computer with the fan tunnel tapped onto the heatsinc lol just bare mobo with front panel. Doesn't have any disc drive capabilities only hdd. Any news if this can be directly flashed to the nand and run xenonlib or xell without need for a disc drive? I have a soldering iron I just need to know so I can buy the chip and solder it on but I don't want to dish out the cash unless I'm certain I do not need a disc drive.
This is a theory I have had for months. I ran it by XeNoN.7 and he said "its not that easy" so make what you will of it.
The actual setup of a retail unit does not allow a Dev kernel to be run. The theory is that you can change this. But yes, its not as easy as flashing a dev dash. Not that I have seen a decrypted Dev nand anyways.
I know a decrypted dev nand exists as well as the only barrier I see is the cpu keys the Nand is physically no different than a dev in terms of the 512 care to eleberate?
Its out ______________ Free60 JTAG/SMC XeLL Hack for Jasper-256/512mb Motherboards >> This was actually released last week already, but with all the BAN news we kinda missed it (but we're still the first site to report about it ) ... so here it is After the release of the hack for Xenon, Falcon/Opus, Zephyr and Jasper-16mb motherboards, here's the Free60 JTAG/SMC XeLL Hack for Jasper (v4) motherboards with 256 and 512mb NAND chips. This NAND image will boot your Xbox360 right into XeLL, which allows you to launch linux distros or run libxenon homebrew software, as long as you never upgraded it via the normal MS upgrade procedures to kernel 849x or higher. From the readme/nfo: Someone also sent us this nice diagram made by Sandungas about how to wire the JTAG hack and SPI (for NAND reading/writing via LTP with nandpro) on Falcon/Zephyr/Jasper motherboards. *Update* Latest version of the diagram made by Sandungas on the free60 wiki.
Yeah I almost thought he meant that a Development kit nand/image had been released publicly. Especially with the all caps... Oh well...Anyone got one pm me...
yea missed that.... but it was new on the x-s homepage so.. i just figured... ehh w/e ima retard:shrug:
On X-S they said it was out for a while but they missed due to all the ban news so your not in the wrong it was fairly new to most people it was just overlooked so your still in the good tyler.
