No reason for flaming when one is trying to help. As I previously posted Component and Composite works to get the 60hz conversion with the older Action Replay Freeloader.

    This is what I read:
I have confirmed that the Freeloader that is included in SD Media launcher and the newer Action Replay DOES NOT do the 50hz to 60hz conversion. I am curious if either the older or newer STAND ALONE Freeloader will work. I only know of the older Action Replay Freeloader working, an expensive EBay purchase.

Oh. I have a pretty old Action Replay around, but no PAL disc to check that feature... Wonder if my version is the correct one. I haven't been too proactive in trying to sell it ever since ebay removed it. Still yet to get around to adding a picture to my sales topic here.

    It's a software patch...

    Don't worry about it, CRTGAMER...
The only one that didn't read up properly was the one not seeing that HamStar50 got ANOTHER NTSC console next to his already obtained Q.

    EDIT:
There's at least 3 different versions of the AR: 1.14/1.16b/1.16B
I think the version was only marked on the disc itself...

(IIRC these were the version names, could be mistaking. I know there were bugs in the earlier versions, IIRC again something to do with Ikaruga not booting. Or was it something to do with F-Zero...)

New freeloader doesn't...as mentioned I tried the new GC and Wii Compatible US Freeloader - fuzzy black and white display.

Well I checked mine. It's possibly the original AR. So old there doesn't appear to even be a version number.

Thanks, looks like just the Code Entry Action Replay Freeloader or possibly the older "Purple" stand alone Freeloader pictured in the first page. Anyone who has the older Freeloader can you confirm with a PAL game on NTSC?

I think any of the older Code Entry Action Replay Freeloaders will do the proper 50hz to 60hz conversion. I use different versions of the older Action Replay by just swapping memory cards with different boot files; used with my old Code Entry AR disc. The boot file off the AR memory cart is required for the older AR to load. The AR Memory card is unreliable, luckily the boot file is easy to transfer to other memory cards.

Does it allow Code entry and need a memory card to boot? If it is KEEP IT! You can download the latest CODE Entry boot file and transfer it to your memory card.

Where can I download the latest CODE Entry boot file?
Would I need a SD Media Launcher to transfer it to a memory card?
