I'm considering getting a NESRGB kit and originally had planned to install it in a Famicom AV, but I was thinking about installing it in a French NES system instead, as they have the Multi AV out so it would look just as clean. However, I had this nagging doubt in the back of my mind about how well it would work with the few UK games I have, as well as any others I should buy when I get back to the UK, given the possible differences between the variants of PAL/SECAM at the time. Would this be an issue or not? Or would the fact that it would be an RGB output mean it wouldn't matter anyway?

PAL/SECAM won't matter with RGB output so you are set ... but why would you like to install a nesrgb on a PAL machine that is 50hz? just use the French model with composite and install RGB goodness to the famicom av :D

Oh, I forgot about 50hz. I still might just do it as my games are PAL ones anyway. I'm not going to start going out of my way to get US NES games, although I may get an Everdrive at some point.
