Well, I was on one of my gaming ventures ( about 3 months back... just pulled it out of my closet... ), checking place by place...and I came across this NES controller. I've never really heard of this one... can anyone shed any light about it? It's called "Cordless Remote Turbo Stick" and it's made by Froggo Games. Can't find one on ebay, and not much info on it anywhere else.... Here's some pics of it. ( sorry about the quality.....my room is kinda dark... ill try to find a place to take better quality pics ) Thanks for Everything, PSPdemon
Froggo? Same guys who used to make Atari stuff that was terrible? Man, i don't know if it's rare, but it's an awesome find nonetheless. A good conversation starter, at least. Love the 80's colour scheme and label design with the lines and all, too (Wish the text were pink, though)
Yea I know....that's what first came to mind when I first saw it. It wasn't until I read the company name till I got confused. . Yup, made by the same people.. has the same logo... lol. Hmmmm.... only can come up with one thing that is relavent to it... http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98923 I guess it's one of those things no ones heard of or seen ( rather, no one cared about. lol ) hopefully, I'll find more info out about it's rarity ( I saw a NES rarity guide with it on there....but I think that could have been the wired version... ) Thanks for Everything, PSPdemon
I took some better ( and more detailed ) pictures for anyone interested. i still wish to know more about this controller....but its still a mystery again, if anyone has any information whatsoever... please do tell... im quite interested in knowing more ( even if its not that rare....it sure is obscure ) Thanks for Everything, PSPdemon
It's a rebranded pad that was quite common in a lot of countries including Japan, could be quite rare but it could be a hong kong brand too.
One of the guys who organizes the Cinciclassic shows found a stock of these. Almost everyone I know who has one got it from him. I think he sold them for 6 or 8. Not sure if he has anymore left or not.
