Well had a court hearing for my divorce yesterday which was OK

Then got home and seeing my wife (ex to be) geting ready to go to a freinds (female) and putting out expensive clothes that are being paid for by the british government on the benefits she is claiming (£13000 a year) and not contributing to the up-keep of the house.....I just walked away from her and went downstairs from my office and in anger I punched the wall above the staircase and put my fist through the plasterboard.

Now I felt terrible because it was stupid and damaged the house.

However a little later I had time to myself came back to my office and this is from an e-mail I received!

Think of yourself as lucky for being rid of such a woman.

Find yourself a woman who can cook, loves you forever.

My friend found such a woman and man is his life good.

Never show or express any anger/violence during a divorce anything that can be used against you will be used.

Been through a divorce this year myself, no kids so quite straight forward for me, but I never gave the ex any chances to pin me down for more cash.

I wish you all the best for the divorce, it's tough at times, especially when people play with your mind, but you'll see something good will come out of it

Someone I know says divorce is like paying to get rid of a bad time in your life. That made it easier for him, I guess.

I think you should focus on the N900 here. It's the phone I m waiting to get but it's not out yet. It's an amazing piece of hardware.

As for the divorce, just think of your future.

my parents are going through this crap right now, too.

it just doesn't make ANY sense. my mom cheated, moved out, and now she's suing my dad and garnishing his wages.

we've all got our crap to deal with. you're not alone.

You should've punched the wife, not the house. More fulfilling... might actually raise the resale value.

VA, this divorce has been a long time coming and the tension in your house must be exhausting.

All I can say is that it's 100 times better that you exercised your frustrations on a wall than anything / anyone else!

The plasterboard is easy to repair, although it may never look perfect and is a good reminder to keep all that kind of shit for the gym. That's where I burnt out my frustrations.

Keep it up mate! You may not want to hear this just yet, but there truly is life after divorce. I am happily remarried with 3 kids and although the ex still paddles her oar into the calm waters to cause ripples, it's a lot less and you just get used to it.

As long as she loves you back. That's been my problem.

Not to impose on your life and all, but I'm curious, why and how can she sue your dad? Doesn't she care about you, her children, think of this? I understand if you don't want to answer to that personal question, it's just that my brother is going through the same thing (though he wasn't married, they just have kids together).
