Can you explain why ps2 slim costs more than fat? Seem like they do the same thing. Not familiar with either modded is why I ask, not questioning your pricing.

 

Slim is in higher demand and people prefer them for whatever reason. I don't but if you check GameStop they offer $5 for a fat and $15 for a slim. It's a near universal.

Reliability is also a concern and afaik the slims are better off than older fats with dying lasers or later fats who can cause mechacon crashes frying the coils.

Just in case anyone else is curious, I have 3 purple cases left and 7 crystal clear. One of the purple cases has a scratch in it from when customs opened the box up to verify contents (thanks guys!) but it can be buffed out. Due to the construction and age of these the buttons do tend to get stuck in transit and will require some TLC to get working. Usually a bit of 2000 grit sand paper and some lithium grease is all you need.

In the two I have? They're TSOP flashed with a 4xxx version of an X2 BIOS. I need to swap it for an iND BIOS so that I can use it with Steel Battalion. When you press the start button the game resets.

 

i have a v1.0 motherboard i was looking to get modded i cant see well enough to tsop one any more

 

I don't do RAM or CPU upgrades but I will happily do a TSOP flash for you. n64freak here on the boards is who did my upgrades and he did a fantastic job. I just wish he had adapters to do 1.4ghz upgrades.
