Not to be pedantic, but since when has a standard dip switch on every Neo Geo MVS system been a special function?

That's a hell of a lot of money when the base 1-slot is under £40...

All those functions are already on the PCB. Is a bit of wiring, a ROM swap and a PSU really worth €300?!

Well I am not saying and not trying to imply that it a consolized only feature, but just putting it under attention. Freeplay is more easy then having to 'insert coin'.

Stone; the pause function is not on PCB aswell as the universal bios.

But please do not complain about the price; I paid more for this bundle then I'm selling. If you want to make it yourself; please do. This is a nifty setup and works like a charm.

The kit available from here says 2 wires to solder. Whoop-te-do.

I'm sure you paid loads for it, I'm just saying I don't think it's worth anywhere near that much. Hopefully you'll find a buyer who thinks I'm wrong ;-)

Well lets put it this way; for everyone that is not technical skilled its a good buy.

It is a nice looking unit, but I agree it's only worth it to a person incapable of putting something together themselves. For those in Europe, making a very basic SuperGun setup is quick, easy, and cheap. It's true for everyone else if they've got a RGB display to use. Good luck selling it. I assume there are people that buy these as this price seems more or less inline with others I've seen for sale. But it's really not worth it since unlike a general purpose SuperGun, you can't play anything but NeoGeo games.

Yes but most JAMMA pcbs have a freeplay setting...

Pause is on the PCB, it's dip switch 8, 7 being the freeplay dip. I notice the board has a test switch, which on a Neo Geo is quite pointless as dipswitch 1 has the same effect.
