    The strange price is for insurance, there is no way I'd ship this without it. BTW, that is shipped within the USA, outside of the country it'll be a base cost of $130+shipping USD.

    You can use it to play Quake 3 and Phantasy Star Online. It's also useful for developers.

    You can connect to some online games and dump Dreamcast GD-ROM discs, as well as prototype HKT-06 Dreamcast GD-R discs, using a new application found in this thread.

    Dev options are as follows:

    BBA@100mbit
    Dev Kit at $300-700
    Serial at 115kbit
    USB at ~1mbit (gotta make it yourself)

    As for PSO it's a lot easier to use a BBA than it is to use an AR or GameShark. There is only one BBA on ebay right now and they want a lot more for it.
