    Question: I have a Sony PVM and one of those Vogatek superguns with a SCART output. Would I be able to use this system with what I have? Also, how many buttons does this particular game use?

    Shrugs. Maybe? If your setup supports a 15hz video ouput then you're fine. It's a standard Jamma Setup with the addition of 31hz video support via VGA (with everything else, power/input/audio/etc, via jamma). A Dip switch on the front controls the output res 15hz/31hz.

    3 but atomiswave supports up to 5 button input via jamma standards (I think most people build their superguns to support at min 4, unless it's meant for a capcom CPS setup).

    Quick research of the Vogatek. In general you will be fine for this game but you might have issues with other games like Guilty gear since it looks like the Vogatek only supports 3 button input via jamma. =(

    That's only MK I which has Megadrive controller ports. the MK III and IV have four buttons via terminal blocks or neo geo controller ports.
