    Hello,

    I'm selling my LAN adapter, it's complete in box and comes with a sealed passport for lan. I'm including a unsealed passport for lan too.

    I'm asking 100 euros.

    Man I hate currency conversions as that is more then a BBA here and I am after just what you have. I lost an auction last week at $76 USD. Do you have two LAN passports? If so if you are willing to sell one I would like to buy for TOSEC project.

    Wow! Since when LAN adapter goes for that much?
    I remember LAN adapter was passing for around $30 if anyone want several years back...

    Yeah but that was before people learned how hard they are to find since not too many were produced IIRC, that and the prices started going up when people found out how useful they are at dumping dreamcast GD's.

    AFAIK Broadband adapter and LAN adapter are one and the same.

    There were only two versions released that were approved by Sega.

    • HIT-0400: "Broadband Adapter", the more common model, this used a Realtek 8139 chip and supported 10 and 100 Mbit speeds.
    • HIT-0300: "LAN Adapter", this version used a Fujitsu MB86967 chip and supported only 10 Mbit speed. This adapter is not compatible with any Dreamcast games and worked only with the included Japanese browser disk.

    ....hence why the LAN adapter has been much cheaper compared to BBA...
    in fact I believe I might still have couple of unboxed/untested HIT-0300 in the junk box some where

    Consider this sold to me!! Only things these can do is dump games and browse the web that is about it, well good for development uses as well sending your own code to the DC for testing. Hopefully it will be supported with the GDI streaming app that is being developed. I just really want the disc TBH. I lost the last auction I was bidding on this for about $65 for one without the Passport but without that they are useless as no normal browser works for this even XPD.
