FS: DX SAMPLES + Iron Soldier 2 Ltd. JAG (Update 20.01.10)

- Sega Dreamcast PAL SAMPLES

As far as i know there are from a test press-run of Sega Europe; Sega used to press just thirty SAMPLES for internal use so these are a real rarity - not just uncommon white labels!
The SAMPLE copies come as a silver GD-Rom with Sega hologram in a crystal case, most with a big green "SAMPLE" sticker on it. I don't know what code or version these games are - i expect it to be retail / release-candidate code.
Maybe it's beta but i'm not sure and not willing to check every detail in the game and compare it to a retail copy.

Not white labels - SAMPLES.
They look like this + the above mentioned sample sticker on the crystal cases.
(white label just for comparison)

 

These should be retail code.

You're basically looking at the first discs off the production line which were used as proofs to ensure everything was up and running before going to full production. So long as the discs passed final test, full production would then commence.

Aside from the lack of a screen printed top, these discs should be identical in every way (including serial number) to retail discs from the same production line.

Ah - i've also some SAMPLE copies of ChuChuRocket and these are not plain silver but plain white. Looks like a white label but with nothing else printed on.
