I'm taking a big hit on it, but it's just sitting here and I don't need it anymore. I would consider trading this for a game stuff.

    Asking $380.00 + ship

    Hey

I was going to probably buy a new hard drive at some point in the near future so I might as well take a look at this one if it's a good deal. Are you still in Japan now?

You mentioned a trade for games, but probably the only thing I have you'd be interested in are Japanese XBOX360 games. Oh, I also have an extra Japanese XBOX360 if you're interested in that. It's been used maybe 10 minutes, includes 20 GB HDD.

I'm not in Japan right now, I'm back in NYC area.

The shipping would be something like $35, normally expensive,
but you are on the inning side as far as currency goes.

Hi, can you plug it directly to the TV and watch DIVX on it?

Good price, but RAID 0 as a backup solution just scares me.

How many HDDs are in there physically?

Edit* I see that it can also do Raid 1. Do you know what the HDD space would be when it uses RAID1?

750gb I believe in raid. It's a big plug and play device, it's big and fast enough to fit anything on there. I used it to back up my HD video collection, so yes, it works fine for video.

No, I mean plugging it directly to your TV and watch movies and listen to songs stored in the HDD, like this one

I've seen devices like that on some sites. They chipset on those things is flaky.

I have a Maxtor one touch III external hard drive and it's been problem free for the last 18 months I've had it. Works well in Raid mode making a running back up copy of your hard drive and as an external drive it's fast and easy, just plug in and go. Power supply is small and uses a figure of 8 connector so you're bound to have one lead laying around, I've used it in Japan, America and Europe with no problems.

very attractive price. I d snatch it instantly were it not for transport considerations in light of the fragility of HDDs.

Would it happen to come loaded with some source code or beta as a deal-sweetener? ;)
