    I got a Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence Beta for the PS2 for Sale. Its a PAL Disc and will run on every PAL PS2, you don't need a Devkit or a chipped Unit, etc.

    On the Disc are the following Informations (as you can see in the Pic aswell).

    Creation Date: 16/02/06
    Product Code: TLES-82043
    Version No: 0.01

    Maybe someone here is interessted in picking up that Disc, im not really "into" the Devscene and don't know if you Guys collect Discs like that. ^^
    As Price i would say 25 € + Shipping, im located in Germany but shipping Worldwide should be cheap for a Single Disc.

    Looks like an internal disk to me rather than beta. I don't know jack about PAL operations for Sony so I don't know. If jccohez doesn't meet your fancy I'll be happy to take it off your hands for your asking price. Anything else like it I wouldn't mind buying for whatever you think is a reasonable price.

    Anyone know anything about this type of disk?

    Looks like the standard discs sent out to UK shops to promote the game. Could be wrong though.

    No, its not a Demo or some Promo Crap.

    These Beta was given out to a few People to test the Server for the upcoming Release of MGS 3: Subsistence. In the Beta Programm from Sony Europe some People always test the Servers for new Onlinegames before they get released.

    I thought it was quite interesting because it has the date of 16/02/06 like you said and the PAL version has got a release date for 29/09/06. It say's beta trial code on the disk too. I guess the Sony Europe people was given a few months to test it.

    Quick question: Is it just the demo for MGO to test the servers, or is it the full second disc?

    First of all as allready said, its not a Demo, its a Beta Version.
    Its not something which could be played in Shops, etc. The Disc was given out by Sony Europe to People which are in the Beta Test Programm. On the Disc is only the Full Onlinemode, its not the complete Game.
