Then you might want to consider shipping outside the UK. Many users are just going to read your title and not bother.

Also (especially if you consider that), check the WTB forum. Several people have asked for modified Saturns of late.

i suppose, i was only saying UK only because of the fact that i dont really know how shipping will turn out price wise. if you wouldnt mind changing the thread to not say uk only ? thank you

    Done!

Package it up ready to go, measure it, weight it and look up a couple of postage prices (try USA, Australia, Germany to give a rough idea). Parcelforce & Interparcel are good places to look. You did say plus shipping, anyway, so people will know to expect it to be a fair amount!

I'm interested in it but I'm short on money right now. I will have to wait until the end of the month and see how much money I have. I live in the USA. My currency converter isn't working atm so if someone can convert British pounds to USD, that would be nice.

As the seller wants payment in Pounds Sterling, you should use the base rate provided by whatever payment provider (e.g. PayPal) you will be using, to see what they'll charge you - not what the exchange rate is. Just go to PayPal, create a payment for £70, it'll tell you what they'll charge. Then cancel. Bear in mind shipping will be a fair bit. Probably in the region of £20-40.

Thank you. $104 for a modded Saturn isn't bad. If it is still here by the end of the month, I'll see how much money I have then. If I have enough, I'll buy it.

    EDIT:

retro, I did not see your post until now. I'll go try that real quick.

    EDIT 2:
    How do I do that?

i think retro is saying to go to gift someone the amount of £70 and i think under the imput box it'll have the conversion rate, after you have that just close the page.

Yup - it should do! Under My PayPal, click Pay or Send Money. Choose which method you want to "use", maybe send it to your own mobile number or e-mail address just in case, then it should tell you in the next step what the conversion is. It won't be too far off, so XE is great for a rough idea. If you said around £100 shipped, that's roughly $150 - but ask the seller for a shipping quote to be more accurate.

Ok thank you. It wouldn't let me send it to myself. If I enter my gmail and click next, it won't send the money right? If it did, I would get into a lot of trouble with the bank since I don't have ~70 pounds in the bank. I have much less than that.

Yeah... not your account e-mail, obviously! lol. Send it to an unregistered account - worst case, it'll say it's waiting for the other person to claim and you can cancel.

Yeah I'm still broke. My birthday is at the end of the month and I might get enough money from it.

If I was able to get it, would I need a power converter to use it? We use 110-120V at 60Hz here in the USA. I heard the PSU can be swapped for an American one but USA Saturns, even broken ones, are pricey.

You would also need some sort of upscaler or video converter as US televisions can't display PAL 50hz video signal. If you just plug it directly to the tv, the picture will be in black & white with the bottom of the screen cut off.

PAL devices don't work on my HDTV. I've tried setting my laptop to PAL modes and my SCART to HDMI converter to PAL but just got "Mode Not Supported". I will be using RGB SCART with my SCART/HDMI to HDMI converter, which has a built-in PAL/SECAM to NTSC converter for Composite video, S-Video, RGBS (RGBS isn't NTSC or PAL; just a 50 Hz to 60Hz conversion for RGBS), DVI-D, and HDMI.

If you are going RGB to HDMI, there is no NTSC or PAL involved.
