I'm sorry if I appeared to be criticizing madhatter's price on this item, I didn't intend to. I was just speaking from personal experience (on the 99e 32X devkit I saw) and the fact that 500 quid is a lot more.

Sorry but are you all made of butter????

Everyone comes here to sell stuff... half the time people either ask for offers (either because they dont know the value or hope someone else doesnt to make a buck) or they put up a price....

If people dont agree its worth it then why shouldnt they say so?! I bloody well hope everyone says something about it! Then its up to the person to say fair enough ill lower it or say no i cant take less then that price....

At the end of the day its not like anyone scammed the poor person selling those dreamcast stuff so cheap a few months ago...!

Not from the well known board members no...

No ones done that but specialy with this kinda thing i prefer people to say "oh thats too much" or "one went on ebay for so and so". Even when im the seller!

So what about people that dont know what an items worth? should we just leave them to pay over the odds? Also just because we say thats abit high doesnt mean someone isnt willing to pay the price...

So we should let someone pay over the odds (not talking about THIS item but in general) because someone isnt making profit? Its all ok to say look i paid so and so and i want to at least make it back if anyone wants it go for it. However im not sure it would be good to just let people buy without knowing that maybe (and its always a big maybe) they might one day find it cheaper....

Ok, I think people definately missed the point completely of what I was saying. Dev Kits are a gray area, yes, but since they are a gray area, saying "that's only worth amount X" isn't helping. Or, on the opposite end of the spectrum, saying that's worth 10x that amount is also not helpful. I wasn't criticizing anyone, and sifting through the topics, it seems like it happens a lot, and it's just extraneous. I'm not trying to change the way you guys do things 'round here, just saying I was getting "dirty vibes" (not about honesty) with all the "prices" being thrown out and about. ;-)

Actually, I think it's really helpful to get other people's opinions on price. At least, I don't see how it hurts.

He's saying that people are denouncing the value of other people's items for their own best interest. For example: "32X Psy-Qs are worth $50, sell it to me for $50"

It should work perfectly with your existing SCSI card from your Psy-Q (if your existing one is complete and running).

Even the software should work fine, if I remember correctly.

Is it even really SCSI? It would make far more sense for it to be simply parallel (RS232)
