asking $150 US each. I only have a few extra of these so once they're gone they're gone. Shipping will be $10 and I will ship worldwide but shipping will be extra.

Added Wideboys - $250/ea. If you have a version/board/Firmware preference let me know I'll see what I have. These are selling fast at this price so if you want one better get on it!

Sorry if I'm just stupid but is this one of the KMC carts or just some third party card?

Okay, bought a couple of them. Very nice carts.

As for you Segaloco, they are dev carts specifically for Rare, as you may see when looking at this picture:

Take a look at the thread concerning them. They werent made necessarily by nintendo but were made by a manufacturer hired by nintendo. RARE had these made specifically for them for the development of games larger than 256mbits.

Just a bump to tell everyone several of these have sold already. stock is dwindling down.

Added wideboys to my FS thread. can a mod change the title to "FS: N64 RARE Development Card/Wideboys"

Ah, cool to know. If I wasn't saving up for a new bass (and college >.>) I'd go for it, seems like a nice little piece of history :D

Are these merely collector pieces, or are they functional ?

I am assuming they are NOT functional, since mine just arrived and was not packed in a static bag.

    ahm... what? Not working?

Are you saying yours is not working just because it was not packed in a static bag?
    Or have you tested?

I'm waiting mine to arrive but I think that if the item is defective the seller MUST let you know before you buy it.

    I'm being sarcastic.

This is the 3rd or 4th item with exposed circuits/boards that I have purchased on this board that was not in a static bag. One person even sent me a dev board wrapped in newspaper (!)

Last time I checked newspaper was safe to use as packing material i.e. not static. Of course a high profile pcb might deserve to be packed in something with a little more class.

The RARE dev carts are as functional as getting the PC to recognize them when hooked up with a scsi cable. No software has been found yet for them so testing with a PC is as far as anyone can get which has been stated in the thread pertaining to these carts. I've sent plenty out with no issues shipped without static bags. Marshall has even went a step further with one to prove the fpga's are still functioning correctly.

Veggav, your wideboy will be just fine. I thoroughly tested it before I mailed it and the pcb is 100% contained within the cart so no static bag is necessary.
