FS: Namco Point Blank cabinet (Glasgow, UK)

I have a beautiful example of the legendary Point Blank cabinet.

Item pulled. Market is flat, I've been offered below it's purchase price so I'm just going to stick it aside in the garage and keep enjoying it myself for the time being until things pick up again!

 

Do you have dimensions?

You need to stand about 1/2 meter back from the screen to be able to take aim and shoot properly. You can go in tight, but you then see the screen AND the projected image.

It's not heavy, has castors and although the main cabinet couldn't be taken apart without damaging the artwork, the rest of it comes apart really easily. So if you needed to take it up a flight of stairs or whatever then the monitor, marquee and glass / mirror can be out in roughly 5 mins.

 

Im after a unit to convert to mame, I love to buy it but looks too goo to gut it.

 

Yeah, I think it would be a shame - Ordyne (www.giz10p.com) was selling off a couple of empty Naomi cabinets. Not sure whether he still has any left, but if you get one with a decent monitor they are ideal for conversion. Bags of space in them for whatever you wanted to do really.

Paulo, it's okay! Not sure whether V_R has done this on other posts, but he's been a pretty solid purchaser of mine for some time now and you just never know whether he's going to purchase something this WILD off the top of his head one day or not.
