For sale is an NUS-CPU-004 NTSC N64 system that has been RGB modded with an amp and fitted with an overclock switch. The overclock allows for some games, usually ones that use the expansion pak, to run smoother and faster. It's not a drastic change but very noticeable. A small fan has been fitted inside to dissipate any excess heat while overclocked and ensures that the N64 runs smoothly. It has been tested to run continuously for over three hours without issue before I turned it off. I'm sure it would have ran fine for much longer. :) Because the system works best with games that use the expansion pak, one will be included. The system has also been outfitted with a switch so that you can turn off the composite sync. This will remove some hatching in the image while outputting RGB. In addition to the N64 and expansion pak, I will be including one Nintendo brand ac adapter and one set of Nintendo branded AV (not RGB) cables. You will have to provide your own RGB cables. $100.00 +shipping. I will ship internationally.

Does it lock up after X number of minutes? Every overclock I've gotten to work seems to freeze 15 minutes into a run.

Nope. :) I have managed hours without so much as a hiccup because I have wired up a small fan to dissapate the excess heat which, I asssume, causes lock ups. However, I have read that the clear shell model n64's are fine without a fan.

    BUMP*****

Price lowered. I am also willing to accept trade. A few things I am looking for are

    Earthbound (SNES)
    Resident Evil Revelations(3ds)
    Dark Souls(ps3)

Atari Jaguar with controller/power/video cables. Must be working. :)
RPG's for various systems, primarily Genesis, Sega CD, PS1, PS2, PSP, and DS.

Do you know if SNES RGB adapters will work with the N64?

I might be interested. I have to wait until tomorrow so I can make a deposit at my bank to find out exactly how much I have. I have been wanting to pick up an N64 for a while now. This would be great.

If you are referring to a scart RGB adapter, then yes, they do. I use the same cable for my SNES and N64 without a problem.
