can someone tell if this is a 1:1 cable from devcard to the drive ??? on the pix on the PC on oldengineer it looks if there are 2 cables parallel running from the card(s) to the drive ??? like card -> drive -> card ???

at least when i look at my drive it is no problem using a scsi LVD cable (which is 68 pin) but when you modify the plastic bracket there is (at least on the Drive) enough space to plug in the 68 pin LVD connector

What kind of laser does it use? Is a different model than those found in retail/dev units? Is it known to be of higher quality?
