FS: PS2 Betas

Allright, i got some other PS2 PAL Beta Discs for Sale. These are Discs given out for the European Beta Test Programm to test the Servers for new outcoming Onlinegames. All Discs look like this:

Means silver Disc with Red Printing on it. All Discs are scratchfree.
I got the following Discs:

S.L.A.I Phantom Crash
Formula One 05
Everybodys Golf 4
Jak X
WRC 5 WT
Pro Evolution Soccer 5
SOCOM II: US Navy Seals

As Price i would say 5 €/Disc.

Hello,

I just want to point out that you should not be selling these discs, you entered into an agreement with Sony while registering for the beta trials. If you read the agreement it is specified that you are not to sell or transfer the disks to anyone.

I just saw you sold one already, MGS3, you should also let know the buyers that the discs are useless without access to the Sony servers. None of them are playable without the server, so they end up with a nice title screen if that...

Plus if Sony discovers your attempt of selling the discs you will get banned or get them to close the beta trials, I'm sure your fellow trialist would love that...

So I suggest you stop selling them...

Well im not into that Programm, i got the Discs from a Friend.
And due to the Fact that they are nonplayable (cause the Servers are allready down) i dont see a Problem with selling these Discs.

So why not sell them?

 

If anything his friend would be in breach of any contracts. Regardless if you want to get technical most devkits are technically stolen property as most were leased and to be returned to the company. I'm relatively certain DC dev kits were under such rules. Someone feel free to correct me on any point.

 

No, IMO you're absolutly right. All Beta or for example Promo Discs who were given out to Videogamemags, etc. are "Not for Sale" Items.

 

Price lowered, 5 € each Disc.
