I'm interested in the Sharp colour image unit. However I have a few questions about the product. It would be very nice if you could help me

- How does it connect to the TV. Via RF, Composite, SCART RGB or S-Video ?
- Does it work with 15khz, 24kz and 31khz games?
- What can I do with that terminal box?
- How much would be postage cost to Germany?

If you can bear with me until tomorrow evening I'll answer your questions then along with some better pictures.

 

List has been updated, sold items removed and a few Megadrive and Master System bits and pieces added.

I've not tested it myself as it came in a lot of stuff, but there was another X68k image unit that I sold to someone, he said that one worked so I presume this one will. I haven't owned a X68k while I've had this box, so can't test it sorry.

As you can see on the photos the terminal box plugs into the main unit. I think its not essential, just adds TV control via the 7 pin C shaped din sockets. It has RCA plus labelled 'see through color', which are presumeably composite.

The outputs are a 25 pin d-sub 'image out/computer' and two composite outputs. I'm unsure of the 25 pin output's use. There is a 15 pin dsub RGB output on the terminal box. You could use an adapter to convert it to scart.

I'm unsure as to compatability regarding refresh rates. Perhaps a member on here can shed more light?

Thats all I know about it tbh, like I say I haven't owned a X68k since I got this, so haven't had a chance to play around with it.

I have an apolagy to make, people who bought larger items (as in consoles) will have their stuff posted on monday via DHL next day. This is because the day off work I thought I had tomorrow is now cancelled and I have to go in and DHL come to pick up items an hour or two after I have to be in work. So yeah, sorry about that. If you are desperate for your items I can post them via Royal Mail, but P&P will cost not far off a half extra of the original postage cost.

Smaller items are being taken to the post office tomorrow afternoon after work (was going to today, but the skies opened up with rain + hail and as I don't have a car I have to carry the packages - risking getting them wet).

 

No problems here, I'm away the weekend anyway.

Tons of nightmares this week - DHL never bloody turned up on friday, I waited in all day, which meant I couldn't go to the post office to get a few smaller items out. Has been re ordered for tuesday, my next day off. Postal strikes yesterday meant the bloody post office was closed yesterday, so couldn't post those smaller items then.

In addition to that and the long hours I've been having to do at work this week, my house was broken into last night and a laptop, money and camera were stolen. Fortunetly nothing I've sold to anyone off this list has been taken so thats ok, but its just another ballache on the list of things this week!

So there will be delays with people getting stuff sorry, but its just been one of those weeks.
