FS: PS2 Test, Xbox Debug Kit, Possibly more...

Firstly: PLEASE EXCUSE THE STATE OF THE LAPTOP SCREEN, DIDN'T REALISE IT WAS SO BAD UNTILL I TOOK THE PHOTOS!

Hi again everyone,

I'm selling my PS2 Test Kit and debug kit, i may also add some other items, although they'll be small items such as leads etc at a later date, but for now lets get the main items listed.

PS2 TEST:

This is in great working order, overall its in great condition other than where it has been damaged around controller port 1. This has been glued back together where the little 'splits' occoured. This has been opened to 'repair' the damage, other than this nothing else has been done to the kit what so ever.

I have talked to Parris and he says these are the best models of the PS2 Test, it has an auto adjusting lazer with a little motor on it, so it can adjust itself all the time to get the best performance from it.

The model number is: DTL-H30001 E

The unit is NTSC type but is 240v as per the labels on the back of the kit! Parris says the ones he has had have played games from other regions also, such as PAL, though i can't guarantee this.

Any questions please do ask away, though my knowledge on playstation dev is very limited.

XBOX Debug kit:

This kit is in excellent working order and in brilliant condition. There are no problems with this what i have found.

Software is pretty much just as you'd expect, there are currently no games on the HDD however.

I may be able to include some leads and a pad at extra cost, feel free to ask if you require these.

Shouldn't be an issue, but you might want to rectify the serial numbers on those images - I can clearly make them out on the units and the identifier tag! ;-)

I have had a 30001 (minus E) and it did indeed playback PAL titles as well as NTSC. If I remember rightly it initially booted in black and white, then changed to color once games title ran.

What region is the Xbox Debug?

D'oh, that's what I get for looking at the pics while tired...missed the label.

 

Yeah sorry about that should have mentioned that.. It is indeed a PAL PSU, 240v.

However it would be very easy to put a US PSU etc in there, just open the case and its a straight forward job, very very easy to do.

 

Offers would be entertained guys, would like to give these two a new home!

Yeah i know Parris, its such ashame its come to this, some people still have cash to spend while others just don't. I hope the economy picks up again soon.

Fingers crossed i'll get someone soon whos looking for these items, i too thought the prices were good, just ashame they haven't been shifted on as of yet.

Hi, am interested in ps2, two questions though. does the joypad/memorycard 1 port still work ok, i looks like its been dropped or fell with the joypad plugged in (only guessing) and what do you think the postage would be to a uk address.. thanx

Firstly, i have replied to your PM.

The joypad / memory card port 1 both work fine. There are no issues that i know of with the unit, everything seems to function as per normal.

I'm not sure how the damage occoured, which is such ashame as the unit otherwise is pretty good. I can only assume as you say, its had a knock with the joypad plugged in. I think its cosmetic damage only, and the hardware functions just as you'd expect.
