    Hey folks!
First off - All prices include shipping within the United States - I'll ship anywhere, but it might cost a bit extra. I have excellent feedback here, at Shmups, as well as Ebay here. I accept (and prefer) PayPal, but also accept personal checks and money orders (within the US).

    J-ROK RGB to NTSC converter v4.1 - $78 shipped

This will take a standard resolution RGB signal (virtually all JAMMA boards), and output it in composite, S-Video, and (best of all) component. This is of course ideal for making or upgrading your supergun, as well as modding older consoles for component output! It comes with all the cables, as well as some extra gold-plated phono mounts, in the same colors as the unit. Everything is in perfect condition, and works excellently.

As always, please PM me if you have any questions - thanks!

Could this be used with European electronics as well, if you connected a SCART adapter to the RGB leads?

What do you mean? Like a SCART RGB cable connected to the encoder to get NTSC output? Assuming the SCART cable supplys +5v (it should) yes you could use the JROK encoder as a SCART RGB to NTSC encoder. Just get a nice project box, mount a SCART socket on it, mount the Composite, Svideo, Component, and some extra RCA jacks for audio and wire it all up. You could have yourself a SCART RGB to NTSC adapter. However they make these SCART RGB to YUV component adapters commercially I've seen. They don't offer S-Video though or audio output.

You want to be careful about hanging too much stuff off the 5V SCART line; it's only spec'ed to tens of mA. Why not just run it off the Supergun supply? :-D

But yeah, you could attach a SCART socket to the RGB input pins of this and have it work. That's almost exactly what I did with mine :) You can get speaker-level-to-line-level converters from Maplin for about £9 which let you output line-level audio when fed with an amplified input, so you could use one of those to handle the sound without blowing stuff up.
