FS: Saturn Floppy Disk Drive(lowered price)

    Sega Saturn Floppy Disk Drive:
    Asking price: $130 + shipping

    Condition:
Very good condition. It was used for a couple of months awhile back but after that it spent most of its life in the box. The package comes complete with the FDD, the power cord, and the original floppy disk the FDD came with. The box is a bit beat up from the previous owner however, so... if you're particularly concerned about the cardboard box then... sorry. Nothing too bad though, 'tis why I took a picture of the box! :)

    Next up:
Reincarnation: Technosoft Game Music Collection Vol. 7
    Asking price: $70 + shipping

CD is in very good condition and has spent almost all of its life (with me) in a plastic baggy. A few light marks on the disc but otherwise everything is in immaculate condition. The obi strip (if one came with it) is MIA though.

The disc drive should come with the Sega Saturn FDD Operator, so you can use it stand alone.

    Ack! I forgot:

The boot disc for the Saturn that goes with the FDD comes with the package as well. I'll take a picture tonight (if anyone cares, which... so far no one has).

It's great if you want to copy games from memory card to memory card, or mess around with Dezaemon 2 (great fun) or Saturn Game Basic.

130 is a very nice price, it's just that I already have one.

I have a copy of Dezaemon 2 that I've never been able to do much with without more memory space, and I just bought Game Basic from jp. as well.

Hijacking the thread a minute... Can anybody confirm that Panzer Saga permits the floppy as a save option? There are famously three circles for save destinations in that game, but I only ever saw the first two populated with icons for the internal memory and a RAM cart. I figured that the third circle was probably the floppy, or some other exotic storage medium.

I haven't tested this myself, but I've heard that it does.
