Drussian: with the exchange rate, it's more like 50 GBP for ya ;) I understand how ya feel, but I just don't have a way or time to go through them all. IF you think $110 is too much, make me an offer...

Assembler: I can understand how some would feel that way, but these are 100% authentic, and all I can really do is sell them the way they are..

Prices are negotiable, the more you buy, the better the deal

Think of it as a lottery ticket. IF he did test these he would drop the prices of those with no changes and raise the prices of those with big changes. I offered the Castlevania PS1 proto for much cheaper than it finally sold for but everyone wanted screen shots. When I took the time to detail the differences the price was no longer the same.

Could you write whatever it's written on the GD-Rs? I mean I see a crazy taxi preview and an Ecco beta but anything else on the others? any dates? version numbers?

I agree 100% from a sellers standpoint it makes perfect sense and see exactly where you`re coming from. You can`t blame potential buyers for trying to ascertain as much information as possible before making a purchase, its the sensible thing to do ;-)

I`ve taken up too much space in your thread for which I apologise. It`s keeping it at the top of the marketplace for you though :p

Drussian: Understandable; ) I have more stuff I need to put together too!

You don't have a lot of them so if you have any GD-R with something written a part from the name I'd appreciate if you tell me what they say.

    Example: Carrier 3.0 11/10/00

    or something similar.

    Thanks!

Naonak: I have 150 of them, actually. I just did not list them all yet

    Dynamite Cop 6/3/99
    ZOmbie Revenge 1/12/99
    Carrier JALECO
    NHL 2K is gone

I have a load of Dreamcast discs that say beta onthem but they're just the same as the retail versions for the most part. I really think that you should at least test the expensive items so we know what we are buying.

I could sell my GDR of Space Channel 5 saying it was a beta since that is what's written on it but I know all too well that it'S 99.9% identical to the retail version.

THe reason for this bitching is because I'm very interested in the Saturn games (as I'm sure SegaFreak_NL is or probably already bought them :crying:) so I need to know what I'm buying.

Yakumo: I already posted in this thread that I do not have a Red System Disc for Saturn to test them.

Also, just because you have had items say "beta" and most are the same as retail does not necessarily mean that they are not different. The only game in question there with that is Ecco. Like Buyatari said, (and he knows) with the sheer amount of games involved here (with more to come) there is no way I have any time to try and see if anything is different. I have not even played the retail version of some of these, so how am I supposed to know what the differences are?

So you know, I had similar problems until digging into disc's contents. Theres lots of left over material on some that's really great :)

You don't need a system disc do you?. Just disc swap them.

yes, that is true but to me the point of a beta is to be able to play something that is different.

DreamTR, I'm not looking to buy any of these myself but it's in your own interest to be more specific about these games so I'm not too sure why you're putting up so much resistance.

The more confidence others have in what you have, the more likely you are to sell at a higher price.

You don't need to be a guru on each of the games to spot differences. Maybe take some photos or videos of the games running with a swap trick? If you can't do it yourself then maybe you could find someone who can without too much trouble? Especially if you have more to come.

You can't really expect anyone to hand over 100s of dollars for items if they have no idea what they are, can you?

    Haha. :110:
Actually I'm not really that interested in the ones listed, as strange as that might seem. Various reasons.

well, DreamTR you actually can take a pic of the folder/content of the discs (Saturn ones..) or try to emulate them.

Do you have more Saturn titles waiting to be add to the list??

    thanks.

As buyatari said, I don't have the time to do this. I'm not resisting anything in this matter, I have too many disks just to go through and figure out what is what, so I'm not running videos when I know a lot of people are not even serious buyers who ask for this stuff in the first place. I've had at least 3 people contact me on games that previously made me do things like this and reneged on deals after saying they would purchase them after I took the time to dig them out and document them.

It is easy to say take videos and do all this, but one, I am not swapping discs on my Saturn. I've never done a swap trick on the Saturn, and I'm not risking damaging anything on it. Two, I'm supposed to take videos with my non camera? Or look in ROM files which I don't know how to do?

You guys have to understand, I found these games, but I do not have the capabilities of doing the things you ask. IF someone found all these at a garage sale, and found this site and decided to sell them all, I don't think they would be expected to do all these things to show off/display the items. I'm not exactly Mr. Video or Computer or ROM scanner/reader person. In fact, I am pretty computer illiterate, but I am able to identify game names and what system they are for.

When you have HUNDREDS of betas to sift through, you may understand why I do not have the time to document differences on each and every item. I need to figure out what I have to sell here.

There are gems in the bunch. Alien Virus for PlayStation among them, but you can't expect me to go nuts on each of these because then they would be priced way different, and you guys would know the differences, and they would be documented, and they still would not be purchased.

The games are authentic, and a lot of these are works in progress. I have more games to add today, but since I am not allowed to do the "bundle" stuff, I have to pick and choose what I want to add here. I apologize if any of you think I am being defensive here, but I really don't think any of you have had to deal with this much stuff at once, which means there is just no way I can take the time to go upstairs and check games like PDS, with a swap method, buy a video camera, take footage, convert it to my computer, upload it to YouTube, I mean, this takes a lot of time for something that I still would not know if it was different. Again, I have documented stuff before for people that said they would buy things right from this site, but those 3 people basically ruin it for everyone because they reneged on deals. I can't waste my time like that anymore. It is what it is on these games, and like I said before, if there are problems, MAKE ME OFFERS ON THE GAMES.

Gareth: Find someone? Heh, you haven't seen my place or how many games I have and how difficult it can be even to GET to the Saturn. WHo wants to come to TN and document games? =P

hey DreamTr. i agree with most you said, i understand you doesn't have the time to document discs. that's ok.

but also what i was asking you about is if there are more saturn titles to be put on the list (when you want of course).
